Join us at LEAD from June 16-18, June 20, 2025 9 AM - 3 PM Camp Cost: $350 Grades 1-8 (kids will be divided into age appropriate groups) Dive deep into fun with our week long STEAM focused camp. This week we will focus on the themes of science and technology. Each day we will challenge campers to apply the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math to perform hands on experiments in a variety of science fields. All materials and supplies are included. During the week we will: -- Make slime and learn about polymerization -- Coffee Filter chromatography and color theory -- Egg drop! Can you build a structure to keep an egg safe during free fall? -- Experiment to discover why airplanes (and birds and bats and bugs) can fly -- Drone flying - open to students ages 9 and older who demonstrate they have the maturity to safely fly small drones -- Younger students will get to work with bottle rockets LEAD Camps are open to both members and non-members! All Campers will be required to sign an insurance waiver on the first day of camp at check in.

Cancellation Policy
LEAD is a small, volunteer-run organization. As such our camp refund & rescheduling policies reflect the time required of volunteers, general operating cost, as well as the cost instructors absorb with cancellations. LEAD's Registration Fee of $50 is Non-Refundable (added into the tuition). Please see the camp description for a breakdown of fees (registration, tuition, & supply fees). Cancellations: 90 days BEFORE the START of camp: -- Full refund for tuition & supplies. -- NO refund on the $50 LEAD Registration Fee. 90 days from your camp's start date: -- You will incur a 25% Cancellation Fee on the cost of the tuition. -- NO refund on SUPPLY FEES -- NO refund on $50 LEAD's Registration Fee. Reschedules are allowed up to 30 days before camp begins providing space is available in the camp with which you wish to switch.
