Global Explorer Club + Breakdance with Mr. Paul Tuesdays 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM Club Leaders: Derrin Moore, Britny Perry, Monica Tompkins (aka Atlanta Play Co+) Club Cost: $130 Course Duration: Ages: 6 - 11 Overview: Embark on an exciting journey across Africa with our Global Explorer Club! This dynamic and interactive class is perfect for young explorers eager to discover new cultures and stay active. This club is open to families with social or educator memberships! What to Expect: Week 1: We kick off with an engaging overview of the African continent, highlighting its diverse landscapes, cultures, and traditions. Weekly Focus: Each subsequent class dives deep into a specific country. Students will explore its unique culture, history, and a traditional movement activity such as a sport, dance, or game. Activities Include: Writing: Creative and informative writing exercises based on weekly themes. History: Fun and educational history lessons about each featured country. Physical Activity: Energetic and enjoyable movement exercises tied to cultural exploration. Exploration: Outdoor activities to connect with nature and enhance the learning experience whenever possible.
